Askdownunder records and discloses the following information as follows:

- A researcher's email address is displayed to the customer to facilitate payment of the researcher by the customer via PayPal™.

- A customer's email address and potentially other personally identifying information may be disclosed to the researcher as a result of their using PayPal™ to pay the researcher (this information is handled according to the PayPal™ privacy policy).

- No payment details are received by askdownunder as all payment processing is handled by PayPal™.

- A researcher's points based on ratings received from customers are publicly displayed (and copyright Askdownunder Pty. Ltd.).

- No cookies are stored on users' computers but the geographic location of visitors to the site is recorded based on the IP address reported by users' computers

- Customer queries are displayed to all researchers online and the query and the best link answering it are archived and viewable by the public. Therefore customers should not include any personally identifying or confidential information in the text of their query.

- Researchers are not employees or agents of Askdownunder Pty. Ltd.and customers are not to disclose any personal or confidential information to them either in the text of their query or via the provided chat room. Chat room transcripts are deleted after one day.

- None of the above information is otherwise supplied to third parties.
